Level 3 Certificate in Supporting The Delivery of PE

This programme prepares learners to be able to deliver in a school sport setting and is perfect for those aspiring to, or already have a career in the industry such as sport coaches, sport development officers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA), and community activators.

Learners will study a range of topics that are focused on developing their knowledge and understanding, including: safeguarding, child and young person development, planning and leading PE and sport programmes, and supporting assessment for learning (Afl).

The programme includes the 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport (PESS Level 3). Learners will engage in a blended delivery programme that includes taught workshops, PE and coaching master classes, webinars and home study.

The qualification requires a minimum of 2 workplace observational assessments and completion of a learning portfolio.
